Entering the 86th edition of the Tour de Suisse, it is also the 24th stop of this year’s UCI World Tour. Since 2011, it has become the designated sub-station of the World Tour. Due to the alpine terrain, the Tour de Suisse is regarded as the best test site for simulating hilly and alpine stages before preparing for the Tour de France.
