Muscat: An expatriate who was seriously injured in a road accident in Oman was taken to the hospital by helicopter. The rescue operation was carried out with the help of the Royal Air Force. The accident took place in South Al Sharqia governorate. The expatriate, a native of Bangladesh, was seriously injured. He was first admitted to Masira Hospital and later transferred to Sur Hospital for specialist treatment. The help of the Royal Air Force was sought for this.
