The famous Lamborghini factory in unique photos. How it changed over time

In 1963, Ferruccio Lamborghini founded the now legendary company Lamborghini Automobili and built a factory in the city of Sant’Agata Bolognese. Its construction progressed very quickly, and in October, when Lamborghini presented its first car, the 350 GTV, the main structure of the famous plant was already standing.

Many years have passed since then, and today Lamborghini is a recognized car company with more than two thousand employees, which produces nine thousand vehicles a year. Thanks to this, today the factory in Bologna, Italy is more modern, larger and more ecological than ever before. However, it has never left its original features, which is very unique in the world.

As part of the celebration of the company’s sixtieth anniversary, Lamborghini published fifty unique photos that show the development from the first models through the stunning Miura, Espada GT and Countach or Diablo to current models such as the Aventador, Huracán or Urus.

It was the last SUV mentioned in 2018 that transformed the factory into its current appearance, as it had to be enlarged due to the huge interest of customers. Today, the factory is thirteen times larger than the original plant. Even so, the famous front of the factory with the proud Lamborghini inscription is original and has dominated the place for 60 years.
