Broken glass, stone throwing and fires. These are some of the incidents that the more than 800 students and teachers of the Fernando Estévez School of Art and Higher Education have to endure, practically daily in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. The director of the center, Maria Jesus Delgado, ensures that the state of abandonment of the former Faculty of Fine Arts, is one of the reasons incidents are recorded, and warns that the situation is unsustainable. The attacks are recorded continuously since 2017 when some individuals, who did not belong to the center, they set fire to the assembly hall. For their part, sources from the Ministry of Education have informed the SER who are finding out who owns the property to take action on the matter.
