The GGP group inaugurates its new Alpine center in Nîmes

Located in Nîmes (30) within the Renault dealership (acquired in December 2020), the new showroom of 230 m2 in the colors of the Alpine team was born there on March 1, 2022. It is one of the 28 Alpine centers in France, but presents itself as the first and only point of sale of the GGP group. Its management was entrusted to Patrick Troquet, who supervises a team of four employees dedicated to the new brand (an adviser, a sales assistant and two mechanics).

Since its opening, the site has recorded nearly ten orders per month and totaled 50 at the end of August. It would seem that the Alpine A110 GT wins a majority of votes. If, initially, the GGP group had set a target of 40 order intake for this year, it finally revised its forecasts upwards in the face of demand: 80 orders for 2022 and 100 in 2023. It must be said that its geographical position located between the Alpine centers of Marseille (RRG group), Béziers (Peyrot) and Valence (Bernard group) allow it to reach a large number of customers.

A grand opening

To officially celebrate the opening of the site, six months after the effective date, 450 handpicked guests gathered on September 15th. Among the organized activities, the operator invited the partner Chazel Technologies Courses, who came for the occasion with two Alpines prepared for the competition. To increase the reputation of Alpine in Nîmes and its surroundings, the dealer has planned to organize regular events such as outings on the road or on the circuit.

The GGP group sold 23 386 new vehicles in 2021. It therefore rises from seventh to second place in the ranking of French distributors of Renault-Dacia brands, behind the Emil Frey France group (43,316 NVs). The company plans to reach 55,000 new and used units for the 2022 financial year, as well as a turnover of 490 millions of euros.
