During a tour of the facilities of the Breast Cancer Detection and Diagnosis Unit, located in this capital city, it was agreed to establish a state work program to disseminate the benefits of prevention programs.
Due to the fact that the state of Chihuahua currently has a high incidence rate of cases of breast and cervical cancer, as well as chronic degenerative diseases, actions will be taken to allow the timely detection of these diseases among the members of this labor organization.
The foregoing was in charge of the head of the IMSS in the state, Dr. Arturo Daniel Bonilla y Calderón, as well as by the general secretary of the CTM in the state, Jorge Doroteo Zapata García.
Among the commitments signed by both instances, it stands out to hold joint work meetings in the main cities of the entity to coordinate actions that allow workers to become aware of the need to lead a healthy life, through timely access to prevention programs currently carried out by the IMSS.
Likewise, it was agreed that Institute personnel will carry out training on digital platforms, which facilitate the services that the institution offers, as well as other topics of interest to the working class.
