The Kremlin does not discuss postponing a single voting day from September 13 to a later date. This was announced by the press secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov, reports TASS.

“No, such a topic is not discussed in the Kremlin. I don’t know anything about this, ”he answered the question whether the Kremlin is preparing to postpone the date.

In April, three RBC sources close to the presidential administration said that the Kremlin allowed the postponement of a single voting day to a later date if the situation with the coronavirus pandemic in the country could not be stabilized. Among the possible transfer options, sources named December 2020 or September 2021.

Another source of RBC, close to the presidential administration, said that so far, the holding of a single voting day on time is being considered as the main scenario.
