ALTENFELDEN. The public library in Altenfelden has put together a colorful autumn programme.
Stefan Kutzenberger, who will read from his book “Kilometer Null” (Kilometer Zero) on the occasion of the Austria Reads Week on October 17th, will kick things off. He describes a rollercoaster ride across the South American continent, in its world literature and finally to the gates of heaven.
Before that, there is a children’s reading with the author, as well as reading and storytelling lessons for children with Brigitta Leibetseder, Margareta Ecker, Herwig Hartl and Anneliese Brunnthaler. Around Australia in a caravan on November 7th, when Ulrich Koller describes his travel experiences. He traveled 32,000 kilometers in Australia with his family.
The traditional Christmas book exhibition is on November 19th and 20th in the parish hall. And on November 25, Alfons Schwarzmann will be presenting his debut novel “Der Brautschrank”. The Altenfeldner tells life stories of several generations, integrated into an exciting contemporary history and beautiful landscapes.
