The Minister of Health says that in Russia no deaths have been detected during the vaccination against covid-19

Currently four vaccines are officially registered in the country.

Russian Health Minister Mikhail Murashko announced that no deaths have been detected during the administration of covid-19 vaccines in Russia.

“Today we have not registered any death directly during vaccination (…). Not a single case,” said Murashko on the ‘Pozner’ program of the Russian channel Pervyi Canal, reports RIA Novosti.

This Monday, Moscow reached a new record of deaths from coronavirus since the beginning of the pandemic, with 124 new deaths recorded in the last 24 hours. In addition, 7,246 new cases of coronavirus were confirmed in one day in the Russian capital. Throughout the country, 21,650 new cases of covid-19 and 611 deaths were detected this Monday.

The Sputnik V, Sputnik Light, EpiVacCorona and CoviVac vaccines are currently registered in Russia. Last week, the first batches of the single-shot Sputnik Light anticovid vaccine were introduced into civilian circulation. Its clinical trials, started in February, were completed in March. The use of the drug was authorized in Russia in May.
