The Ministry of Construction and Housing and Communal Services of Russia proposed to repair dilapidated housing with depreciation of more than 70% at the expense of citizens before the building receives emergency status.
This is reported by the newspaper "Izvestia".
It is noted that this initiative will be discussed at parliamentary hearings in the State Duma on November 7.
It is specified that those houses with depreciation of more than 70% that were not recognized as emergency can be included in regional overhaul programs, which will also be funded by citizens.
On October 4, the Russian government approved a bill defining new mechanisms for the resettlement of emergency housing.
