The new coach of CSKA started with the claims

The new coach of CSKA Sasha Ilyich has asked the management of the “reds” to provide him with four new additions so that his team can be competitive. The Serbian specialist was adamant that with the current players, the citizens of Sofia will not be able to pursue the set high goals, namely participation in the group phase of the League of Conferences and the championship title in the home championship.

So far, only two new ones have landed at the Bulgarian Army Stadium – the youth national Stanislav Shopov and the Serbian Lazar Tufegdzic. On the other hand, five parted ways with the club – Bradley Maziku, Graham Carey, Carlo Muhar, Thomas Lam and Junior Nzila.

Ilyich was not satisfied with the delay in the selection and the serious questions about the team, as there are less than three weeks until the beginning of the new season.

The “reds” are expected to look for a replacement for the goal scorer Jordi Caicedo, who can be sold, Tema Sport writes. The “Army” will try to strengthen with a new left back, central defender and midfielder.

Currently, three central defenders in the person of captain Jurgen Matai, Meno Koch and Enes Mahmutovic are injured and can not conduct a full training process. The Brazilian Eliton from the Portuguese Covilha and the national Vasil Bozhikov are connected with a transfer to the team.
