Police in Winnipeg want to talk to the driver of a four-door sedan she believes has important information about the disappearance and murder of Thelma Krull.
On Thursday, the four-year anniversary of Krull's disappearance, officials said they had learned about the driver through a community tip.
The police found that the person was able to observe Krull, and perhaps did not realize that she had seen or heard something. It is believed that the Gold Sedan is a 2005-2010 import, such as a Toyota, Hyundai or Honda, and was in good condition.
The driver may not live in the area around the Civic Park or even in the city of Winnipeg. Police ask anyone who knows someone who has or had access to this type of car to contact 204-986-6508 or Crime Stoppers.
Krull disappeared on the morning of July 11, 2015, after leaving home on Grassie Boulevard and walking to Civic Park. The police later found a number of their belongings in this area.
The remnants of the 57-year-old were found in a rural area outside the city, more than 40 kilometers from where she was last seen alive. They were found in November 2018, three years after she disappeared.
At the time of her disappearance Krull was described as 1.80 m hard with short blond hair with purple stripes. Most recently she wore a red or orange T-shirt, a black capri pants, a black belt pouch and brown or brown hiking boots.
