The president of Touring Voyages Algeria: “Everything is ready to provide the best services to supporters who have to go to Douala” – Horizons

The president of Touring Voyages Algérie (TVA), Tahar Sahri, said on Sunday that “everything has been done to provide the best services to Algerian fans who have to go to Douala to support the Algerian national team against Cameroon, in the qualifying play-off match. at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, in application of the decision of the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune to take charge of the supporters of the “Greens”.

“In application of the directives of the President of the Republic and the instructions of the Prime Minister, Mr. Aïmene Benabderrahmane as well as the Ministries of Tourism and Handicrafts and the Ministry of Youth and Sports, we have implemented all the means material and human resources to launch the ticket sales operation this Sunday. We are ready at the level of all our agencies to serve the Algerian supporters,” Sahri told APS.
“We are doing everything we can to register as many as possible before March 15. Supporters wishing to join Douala must imperatively be vaccinated against yellow fever, as well as the anti-Covid-19 vaccine. The sale of tickets reserved for flights to transport supporters to Douala began on Sunday, at subsidized prices, following the directives of the President of the Republic”, he indicated, and “to ensure that all means for the success of this operation have been taken”.
Concerning the low enthusiasm reported at the level of the various (VAT) agencies on Sunday in Algiers, the first manager of the agency explained that the supporters went, first of all, to the “Pasteur” Institute to get the yellow fever vaccine. According to witnesses, the sale operation, started timidly at the level of the agencies of Algiers, Oran, Constantine and Ouargla.
The trip to Douala will take place on the night of March 24, to arrive there around 6:00 am. Once there, the supporters will stay at the airport until 1:00 p.m. before being transported to the Japoma stadium, while the return will be around 11:00 p.m., arriving in Algiers around 4:30 a.m. According to the same manager, “everyone is working hard to accompany the supporters throughout their stay, until their return to Algiers”.
On the subject of catering, the first person in charge of TVA indicated “that like Air Algérie and Tassili, his company also plans to provide drinks and meals, in particular at noon in Douala”. He also pointed out that “the fan reception operation will take place during working hours, and could continue until midnight, if necessary, as was the case during CAN-2019 in Cairo. We are at the disposal of the supporters during these three days, as we have notified all the agencies of the country to remain mobilized during this operation”.
