the Premier Viorica Dăncilă to quit the services of the SPP, immediately after the investiture, the guard being provided by the Romanian Gendarmerie, according to Mediafax. The decision was confirmed by the secretary general-the deputy of the PSD, Codrin Stefanescu, in a telephone intervention on Antena 3. Also, this decision to drop the SPP has been taken of all the ministers of the new Executive.
“We talked in the last year of the involvement of the SPP and the lord Pahonțu in political matters. Dignitaries that are monitored, a database that collects in this gentleman. The decision is natural. In the time in which this SPP, in place to ensure the safety of the dignitaries, in charge of monitoring and spying on officials and send the information to a single man who does analysis on them, it’s not okay,” said Stefanescu, on Antena 3.
the Leader of the PSD, Liviu Dragnea, said that, institutionally, any prime minister must have contacts with the SRI, SIE and SPP, but the head of the SPP, Lucian Pahonțu, he was involved more than was the case in the Government. “I saw Mihai Tudose how it evolved after it was no longer prime minister, I even thanked you today, it has become the same colleague open and funny. Maybe the tension there, can influences. There’s no way to know now, but that doesn’t mean that eventually we won’t find out. Several colleagues have told me that the head of the SPP site was more involved than was the case. Mr Paul Stănescu was told that sometime in march I’m gonna be executed and he can be the head of the party. Maybe he was told and his Grindeanu, his Tudose, I don’t know”, said the leader of the PSD, Monday night, in an interview on Antena 3.
