Al-Marsad Newspaper: Social media platforms re-circulated a video clip, documenting the reaction of the Emir of the Asir region, Prince Turki bin Talal, to one of the speakers, who said, “We are proud of our rulers who descend to their subjects,” to be interrupted by the prince, correcting “those who rise to their subjects,” as evidence of Advancement, respect and appreciation.
And the video showed Prince Turki bin Talal, who was sitting on the ground accompanied by a group of people, and one of them said: “You took over Asir, and you are people for that, and no one takes over Asir except a man with insight, and I was not placed in this place except that you are worthy of it.”
And the speaker continued: “And we are the care, by God’s will, sincerely, and in our necks is an allegiance that does not come out except with the departure of our souls. Your arrival to us is evidence of the strength of the cohesion and the bond between the shepherd and the parish that Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, established in our souls.”
He added: “This is something we are proud of and we are proud of our rulers, who come down to their subjects and pray for them and see their needs.” Then Prince Turki interrupted him, correcting his speech, saying: “Those who live up to their subjects.”
