The Seville Blood Transfusion Center launches a new SOS

The Regional Blood Transfusion Center (CTS) of the province of Seville has once again launched this week a SOS in the face of falling blood reserves after the last festivities held in Seville and that is pushing the availability of plasma to the limit to be able to attend to hospital needs, especially in surgeries.

This Monday, and as has been customary for three weeks, sources from the center have once again insisted on the “urgent” appeal to blood donation because the reserves “continue not to be traced”.

This is what he has expressed in a message on his social networks, where he highlights that it is necessary to “urgently replenish the reserves.” Last Monday, the Center, which has reported the points set up this week in the province, made an appeal of a similar nature to the “Alarming drop in bookings after the Fair”. Same message that was already spread a week before, at the end of April.

For this Mondaythe mobile teams of the CTS will be installed in Ecija, at the Blas Infante and Escuelas SAFA schools (5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.); in Casariche, at the Casa de la Juventud (5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.) and in The Saucejo, at the Municipal Library, from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
