The state of natural disaster recognized in Meurthe-et-Moselle after the floods of July 2021

The Madon was literally out of bed. The floods and mudslides caused by the heavy rains between July 13 and 16 had been particularly impressive. Prefecture today recognizes the state of natural disaster.

48 municipalities are concerned : Auboué, Batilly, Beuveille, Boismont, Bruville, Charency-Vezin, Chenières, Colmey, Conflans-en-Jarnisy, Cons-la-Grandville, Cosnes-et-Romain, Crusnes, Custines, Épiez-sur-Chiers, Fresnois-la -Montagne, Giraumont, Gondrecourt-Aix, Gorcy, Grand-Failly, Hatrize, Homécourt, Hussigny-Godbrange, Jarny, Joudreville, Landres, Liverdun, Longlaville, Longuyon, Longwy, Mairy-Mainville, Mercy-le-Bas, Mexy, Moineville , Moutiers, Murville, Petit-Failly, Piennes, Pierrepont, Réhon, Saint-Jean-lès-Longuyon, SaintPancré, Saulnes, Trieux, Tucquegnieux, Val de Briey, Ville-Houdlémont, Villette, Villers-sur-Chiers.

If you live in these municipalities and if you have been affected by these floods, you have 10 days from this Monday August 2 to contact your insurance in order to benefit from the mechanism for recognizing the state of natural disaster.
