The story of the woman who has the longest hair in the world, after washing 6 bottles of shampoo, it can only dry in 2 days – The Florida woman who holds the Guinness World Record for longest hair says her tendrils have now reached a length of 110 feet.

Reported UPIAsha Mandela, 60, was first awarded the record for longest hair in 2009.

At the time, her hair measured 19 feet and 6.5 inches.

Now, her hair has reached a length of 110 feet.

Mandela, who lives in Clermont, said he first started growing hair when he moved to the US from Trinidad and Tobago more than 40 years ago.

“I don’t like the term dreadlocks because I don’t think there’s anything scary about my dreadlocks,” Mandela told Guinness World Records.

“I call my own hair the crown of the kingdom,” she added.

Mandela said he usually carried his hair in a cloth sash to prevent it from dragging on the ground or straining his neck.

Mandela’s husband, Emmanuel Chege, a professional hairstylist from Nairobi, Kenya, spends hours each week grooming Mandela’s hair.

Chege washes Mandela’s hair once a week, which requires up to six bottles of shampoo and ends with a two-day drying process.

Mandela said he plans to continue growing his hair.

“I will never see or feel that there will be a time when I want to cut my hair. It will never happen,” she said.
