SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – The authorities completely raised the tow truck on Sunday, which crashed from the Pioneer Bridge into the Sacramento River.
The corpse of Rosylen Sharma was in it, says the California Highway Patrol. The vehicle is now taken away for taking evidence.
The discovery follows recovery efforts that have been ongoing since Friday. On Saturday, a team of divers partially lifted the tow truck, which has been sitting at the foot of the Sacramento River for two and a half weeks.
Shalvinesh's Sharma Corpse was discovered Thursday near Garcia Bend Park.
Both Shalvinesh and Rosylen were inside the vehicle when it was involved in a collision that sent it via the Highway 50 into the river.
A diving team from the company CS Marine Constructors from Vallejo has worked to lift the truck completely out of the water. Cold, cloudy conditions in combination with fast flowing water have hindered the recovery efforts.
