The town of Draguignan lights up with the launch of the Telethon

Around 6 p.m. this Friday evening, elected officials and Dracénois gathered to launch the start of the 2022 Telethon, place René Cassin in Draguignan.

The inaugural speech was given by the first deputy Christine Prémoselli in the presence of Fanny Alibert, sector manager in the East-Var with the French Association against myopathies.

Among the many associations involved throughout the weekend to collect donations for the benefit of research against rare diseases, that of the Randonneurs Dracéniens gave the starting signal with the torchlight procession.

More than a hundred people marched through the streets of the old town, led by young volunteer firefighters from Dracénie.

The opportunity also for the municipality to launch the Christmas lights in the streets of the city.

Next meeting not to be missed, the inauguration of the Fête de la Glisse, on Friday 9 December.
