The world is on a date tonight with an astronomical phenomenon seen by the naked eye

Astronomical Society in Jeddah revealed that the sky of the Arab world will witness tonight, the occurrence of the moon near Jupiter in a phenomenon that will easily be seen by the naked eye, an ideal opportunity for photography.

It added that the moon's proximity to Jupiter is intended only on the sky's sky, not close to each other in space.

Jupiter is the fourth brightest object in the sky after the sun, moon and Venus. Jupiter will appear as a bright white spot for observation of the naked eye. When viewed through a telescope or a small telescope, it will see the planet's disk and its four large moons known as Galileo moons: , Calisto, Europa, Iowa, where they appear as small light points near the buyer.

During the night, all these objects move to the west as a result of the rotation of the earth around its axis, but the real movement of the moon is to the east for the stars.

By observing the location of the moon at the same time every day it will notice that its movement is eastward for the stars and planets in the zodiac. Every hour the moon cuts about half a degree to the east and every day the moon cuts 13 degrees in front of the constellations in the zodiac.

She said: On Friday evening it will be noticed that the moon has moved away from the buyer pushing east toward the star of the heart of the red scorpion, its natural movement in its orbit around the earth.
