Their son has been dead for weeks, but still in Thailand: “We finally want to be able to say goodbye”

Sander Blondeel (20) died at the beginning of this month in a tragic motorcycle accident in Thailand. His parents have been waiting for the repatriation of his body for almost three weeks. “If all goes well, he is expected in Zaventem on Tuesday. We only hope that the strike will not make repatriation more difficult now, because we finally want to be able to say goodbye,” says his father.
