These are the AMD cards that will compete with the RTX 30 series

Will compete against 3070, 3080 and 3090 with three new cards.

AMD has finally unveiled three new cards with RDNA 2 platform.

From 6,000 to 10,000 kroner, converted from dollars – Norwegian prices not known

The models are priced from 580 to 999 dollars. In other words, the strategy is to compete directly with Nvidia’s RTX 30 series, card by card.

The 6900XT is the flagship for 999 dollars and will actually compete with the RTX 3090.

Radeon RX 6900 XT (December 8) has:

  • 16GB GDDR6 RAM
  • 128MB Infinity Cache
  • 80 “Compute Units” – 5120 “Stream Processors”
  • 300 in max

Radeon RX 6800 XT competes against RTX 3080 and launches November 18:

  • 16GB GDDR RAM
  • 256-bit memory bus
  • 128MB Infinity Cache
  • 300 in max
  • 72 Ray Accelerators and 128 ROPs
  • Texture Unit: 288
  • 2015 MHz game clock og 2250 MHz boost clock

Radeon RX 6800 competes against RTX 3087 launches November 18:

  • 60 “compute units” – 3840 “Stream Processors”
  • 16GB GDDR6 RAM
  • 128MB Infinity Cache
  • 1815 MHz (game clock) og 2105 MHz (boost clock).
