These big caps stocks had the most foreign sales in the week

KONTAN.CO.ID – JAKARTA. The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) closed lower during the weekend trading, Friday (28/8). However, within a week the JCI was still up 1.40%. Even though it was strong, foreigners posted a record net sell or net sales in a week amounting to Rp 2.46 trillion in all markets.

Most foreign investors sold shares of PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk (TLKM) last week, amounting to Rp 737 billion. Within a week the total trading volume of TLKM’s shares reached 562.7 million with a transaction value of Rp 1.7 trillion. TLKM’s share price also fell 1.33% in the week to Rp 2,960 per share.

Then followed by shares of PT Bank Negara Indonesia Tbk (BBNI) IDR 562.9 billion. The total trading volume of BBNI’s shares in a week reached 316.9 million with a value of Rp 1.7 trillion. However, BBNI shares rose 3.96% in a week to a level of Rp 5,250 per share.

Foreigners also released shares of PT Bank Mandiri Tbk (BMRI) for Rp 280.7 billion. The total trading volume of BMRI shares in the past week has reached 256.3 million with a value of Rp 1.6 trillion. BMRI shares in fact rose 2.05% in a week to Rp 6,225 per share

Foreigners also released shares of PT Gudang Garam Tbk (GGRM) amounting to Rp 177.1 billion. The total volume of cigarette stock trading reached 14.7 million with a transaction value of IDR 753.7 billion. Apart from foreigners, GGRM shares fell 9.09% in a week to a level of Rp 49,250 per share
