The General Directorate of Religion and Worship of the Ministry of Children, Adolescents, Youth and Citizenship, together with the Regional Hemotherapy Center (CRH) of the Ministry of Health, organizes a new blood collection.

On this occasion, it will take place on September 27 at the El Camino Evangelical Baptist Church, 861 José Fava Street in the city of Neuquén, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. It should be remembered that to approach the blood collection next Tuesday it is necessary take a previous turn. The initiative is carried out by the Ministry of Health together with the General Directorate of Religion and Worship of the Undersecretary of Healthy Cities and Prevention of Problematic Consumption with the aim of facilitating blood donation in the provincial territory and promoting access to health of the entire community.

This is the third collection organized by both institutions, since in recent months two other collections were made in the towns of Chos Malal and Loncopué.

It is important to remember that blood and its derivatives cannot be manufactured artificially and are essential resources for surgeries, operations, cancer treatments and other health interventions. For that reason, it’s important for people to pledge and donate blood often, at least twice a year.
