HERMOSILLO, Sonora.- The Don Jorge Aguilar Heredia Foundation held the first community health caravan yesterday on Rey Joroboam street, corner with Eucalipto, in the Tres Reynas Invasion.
Berenice Domínguez, coordinator of the foundation’s programs, pointed out that the purpose of the event was to bring families vulnerable to invasion and outskirts to enjoy various Health services.
We offer oral care, nutrition, sale of affordable groceries, glucose screenings, blood pressure, health promotion modules such as family planning, rickettsia and heat stroke prevention, as well as free haircuts,” he explained.
In addition to this, they also placed informative modules for the timely detection of breast and prostate cancer, as well as for the timely detection of skin cancer; all totally free.
According to Berenice Domínguez, the foundation operates in five states (Sonora, Baja California Sur, Chiapas, Sinaloa and Colima) with the aim of improving the quality of life of people who are in a vulnerable situation.
The care provided to the inhabitants of the invasion located at the South of Hermosillo they were totally free and took place from 08:30 to 12:30.
