Thiago Silva wants to convince Neymar to join him at Stamford Bridge

Brazilian icon Neymar’s future appears to be up in the air after ties between the Santos youth product and Paris Saint-Germain were seemingly severed beyond repair.

Reports in Le Parisien via Get French Soccer have stated that Neymar is “very likely” to leave the French capital this summer, with the Parisians happy to allow the Brazilian star to go on loan.

“Neymar’s father and his agent Pini Zahavi are in constant contact with PSG management. Club President Nasser Al-Khelaifi hinted in a recent interview with the outlet that it was the end of the ‘bling-bling’ era at PSG, comments that Neymar’s team thought were aimed at him.

With PSG looking for a potential suitor who would be willing to cover at least most – if not all – of his current salary package, Brazilian Thiago Silva has launched a campaign to try and convince Neymar to join him Stamford Bridge under German tactician Thomas Tuchel after staying in regular contact with his compatriot over a possible escape route to west London.

However, a potential move for Neymar is unlikely after Chelsea have already started pushing for Leeds United’s talisman Raphinha, while new club owner Todd Boehly is also a huge admirer of Barcelona’s Ousmane Dembélé.

Neymar is also said to not favor a move from PSG, but with Nasser Al-Khelaifi determined to change the culture within the club under new manager Christoph Galtier, there could still be a potential summer move for the legendary striker.
