This garage costs almost 2.5 million. But the car probably has to push into it

Parking in big city centers is often a nuisance. And even bigger if you don’t want to leave your car on the street.

In this case, you must look for a covered parking lot, or a garage or parking house. And find a stall that you can rent or buy straight away. The second option will usually not be cheap.

The garage we want to show you also costs a lot of money, and it has another problem. But gradually: it’s a place from London, located near the famous Harrods department store in Knightsbridge in central London, England. And it is currently for sale.

Surely you already know that it is available for a large amount, specifically 85 thousand pounds, which is about 2.44 million crowns according to the current exchange rate.

However, in addition to the required price, the appearance of this garage parking space can also be an obstacle. The stain is sandwiched between two walls and most importantly, it is not very big. The length is still fine, five and a half meters would definitely be enough for most drivers, it is significantly worse with the width.

According to the seller, we would measure about two meters between the mentioned walls. And that means a big limitation, because such an “ordinary” Škoda Octavia measures 2003 millimeters with mirrors as wide. She might not fit in this place anymore. Despite the fact that you would definitely need to open the door …

But a curious parking space also has advantages. In addition to its location in central London, there is, for example, the presence of a camera system or access to water. But if it outweighs the weakness of not being able to park normally, we’re not sure at the parking lot. And by the way, notice how the current owner covered the corners of the walls to prevent possible abrasion of the body.

However, the special offer also inspired us to look at the domestic offer of garage parking spaces in the center of Prague. We were interested in two places in the wider center: a separate garage in Smíchov for 2.2 million and a parking space in the basement of an apartment building in Vinohrady for two million. Both stands offer an area of 18 square meters.
