VIVA Showbiz – Ustaz Yusuf Mansur won over allegations of broken promises or defaults. In a trial held on Thursday, December 1, 2022, Ustadz Yusuf Mansur escaped from a civil penalty for compensation costs.
Ustaz Yusuf Mansur did not attend the trial and was represented by his attorney, Ariel Muchtar. Likewise with the plaintiff who was not present at the court decision and was represented by his attorney, Ichwan Tony.
The judge read out the decision after trying to reconcile the two parties, but both of them chose not to make peace and agreed for the Chief Judge to immediately read out the decision in the default case.
The Chief Judge felt that the lawsuit was ambiguous because there was a change in the number of plaintiffs in the trial but there was no change in the nominal loss.
“In the middle of the trial, there was a change in the number of people from 13 (people) to 12 (people) but the nominal amount of losses remained the same which made the lawsuit ambiguous,” said the Chief Judge in the Tangerang District Court (PN) courtroom, Banten, on Thursday, 1 December 2022.
Therefore, the Chief Judge allowed the exception of the plaintiff and did not accept the lawsuit filed by the 12 people.
“Thus, the defendant’s exception is granted. Because the exception is granted, the panel does not need to consider the statements of the witnesses. With this it does not accept all claims from the plaintiff,” said the Chief Judge.
