The Juventus Turin forward is one of the few soccer athletes who has not put ink on his body
Cristiano Ronaldo is considered one of the best footballers in the world and for many others he is already one of the greatest legends in the history of the beautiful game. However, all his characteristics not only shine on the field, but also by the actions he performs off the field.
One of the things that most draws the attention of the striker is that he does not have any tattoo on his body, something quite strange for this time, because players use it as a form of expression or in many cases to remember their relatives or important moments of your life.
Many CR7 fans have wondered about the real reason why he does not have any tattoos, and finally the Juventus star revealed the reason.
What happens is that the Portuguese striker explained that he has not decided to tattoo himself for a charitable purpose. Since the beginning of his career, Cristiano Ronaldo has become a faithful blood donor, so he would have to wait many months to be able to donate in case of tattooing, a situation that he does not like at all.
Cristiano Ronaldo, who has been classified as “the most supportive athlete in the world”, collaborated with the Red Cross and was an ambassador for the “Give Blood” campaign that was aimed at raising awareness about blood donation. During an interview he confessed that “it is nothing more than drawing blood, it does not hurt.” In 2011 he made a bone marrow donation for the son of Carlos Martins, a Portuguese player.
In addition to donating blood, Cristiano Ronaldo has also done charitable work, and in 2015 he was named “the most caring athlete in the world” by Athletes Gone Good and two years later he auctioned his 2013 Ballon d’Or for $ 775,000. The proceeds from the auction were donated to the Make a Wish foundation.
Among one of his most important acts is the financing he made for the construction of a pediatric hospital in Chile, as well as the full payment of a cancer treatment for a small 9-year-old fan.
