Club’s last game before the international break was one to forget. They lost 0-1 against KV Kortrijk.

However, they had plenty of opportunities to score and take home at least one point. One of the players who incomprehensibly missed a huge chance was Roman Yaremchuk.

The striker of sixteen million euros cannot justify his price tag. He only managed to score twice and deliver four assists. Filip Joos thinks he knows the reason for his failure: “He really doesn’t have good feet!”

“We knew that for some time, of course, but in principle he will score,” said the analyst Extra Time. “Put him at KV Mechelen and he has twenty inside. One hundred percent sure. But he will not make it with a football team!”

Franky Van der Elst was also present in the Extra Time studio. He pointed to another cause of Yaremchuk’s failure, the mental aspect. According to the ex-Club player, Yaremchuk lacks confidence.

“Dat wisten we natuurlijk al langer, alleen scoort hij dan in principe wel”, aldus de analist bij Extra Time. “Zet hem bij KV Mechelen en hij heeft er twintig binnen liggen. Honderd procent zeker. Maar bij een voetballende ploeg zal hij het niet maken!”

Vertrouwen

Ook Franky Van der Elst was aanwezig in de studio van Extra Time. Hij wees nog een andere oorzaak aan voor het mislukken van Yaremchuk, het mentale aspect. Volgens de ex-Club-speler mist Yaremchuk vooral vertrouwen.
