Trevor Strnad, the lead singer of The Black Dahlia Murder, died tragically suddenly at the age of 41. His death was announced on the formation’s Facebook page. The cause of death has not been reported, but it is a telltale sign that the phone number of a suicide prevention crisis center was listed at the end of the post.
– Everyone who met him loved him. It was a two-legged encyclopedia he knew all about music – wrote the band on the social site. Trevor’s musicians and fans alike were overwhelmed by the tragic news.
– Without metal, it wouldn’t be what it is today. I just can’t believe it – said Craig Reynolds, drummer for Stray From The Path. – It’s completely devastated. I love you so much Trevor. Rest in peace. We all love it very much! – wrote a fan. Some people put it this way, they recently listened to all the albums in Trevor’s band because they owe their teenage years to him.
