Thousands protest in Argentina to protest against austerity measures

The Russian news channel (Russia Today) confirmed on Friday that the demonstrators demanded the need to provide more jobs and increase social programs in the country, and called for a general strike in Argentina.

The Argentine president announced late last year the imposition of new export duties in the world's third-largest soybean producer and sharply cut government spending in an "emergency" attempt to control the 2019 budget as his center-right government seeks to persuade the International Monetary Fund A $ 50 billion loan program.
