The Museum Complex of Natural Sciences „Ion Borcea” Bacău invites the people of Bacău to the Astronomical Observatory „Victor Anestin” to a session of astronomical observations, today, September 15, 2020 between 21.00 – 22.30. Given that the sky will be clear, visitors will be able to admire the planet Jupiter and the Galilean satellites, the beautiful rings of Saturn, and after 21.45 and Mars, the red planet. The observations will be made with the Zeiss Telementor 63/840 mm telescope and the 254/1200 mm Skywatcher telescope. Visitors’ access to participate in the observations will be restricted, according to the regulations in force during the alert state, given the context generated by the presence of SARS-CoV-2 virus. As a result, a maximum of 5 people will have access to the Observatory terrace at the same time. In order to have access, people must have a temperature below 37.3 degrees, wear a mask throughout their presence in the Astronomical Observatory building and touch as few surfaces as possible.
