Strong winds, snow, rain and temperatures in the 1930s pushed the final of the Cubs Angels series on Sunday at Wrigley Field.
A make-up date was not disclosed.

Both teams are out on April 29thbut the Cubs are on a Western Road Trip, which would force them to fly from Phoenix to Chicago for a day before flying to Seattle for two games against the Mariners. The only other free day that makes sense would be August 26thsaid a team source. The Cubs would be home, but the Angels would travel from Houston to Chicago for a day before returning to Anaheim.
This is one reason why MLB should not host Interleague games in April in cold weather cities.
"Sometimes people ask me what the hardest part of working in baseball is," said Cubs President Theo Epstein at the Cubs Convention. "I always say" rain. "It's so hard, there are a number of people involved, maybe half a dozen people trying to make those decisions take into account the integrity of the game and logistics, and of course the fans and their experience ,
"We used to call it the brain of trust. And we had so many difficult results, now we call it rain-confidence. "
The "rain-confidence" of the Cubs had decided before the fans made their way to the stadium.
The park is closed to the media and fans. The players will arrive later for the flight to Miami.
Angels manager Brad Ausmus celebrating his 50th birthdayth Birthday Sunday said Saturday he hoped that they would postpone the game, adding that it had "nothing to do with my birthday."
The Cubs travel to Miami for a series of three games, while the Angels start a series of three games in Texas Monday.

Tyler Chatwood was prepared to pitch in the miserable weather, which admittedly is worse than throwing in Denver.
"It's cold here, man," he said. "This wind makes it very cold. I think the other night was one of the coldest nights I've ever known.
With the postponement, manager Joe Maddon Chatwood can skip and Yu Darvish regularly rest on Monday in Miami.
"There are ways we do not have to start him if he does not need to start in bad weather (Sunday)," Maddon said Saturday. "We have discussed both options but have not closed anything yet."
With the coming off-days next Thursday and April 22, the Cubs will go through a four-man rotation until April 27, or when Lester returns.
The Cubs finished their first home win with a 3-2 record and occupy the last place in the NL headquarters.
