Doutzen Kroes has made himself heard again after a media silence of more than half a year. The Dutch top model (36) posted a long message on Instagram on Friday in which she speaks out against the corona vaccine. In doing so, she calls on others to follow her example and also to “speak out for their freedom”.
Kroes calls the past months without social media “very peaceful”, but felt compelled to make himself heard online again due to the announced corona measures. The top model says, among other things, that she “can no longer ignore the injustice that is happening in front of us”.
In his own words, other people have given Kroes the “hope and strength” to speak out. “I will not be forced to take the corona vaccine,” she writes firmly. “I will not be forced to prove my health in order to participate in society. I don’t accept people being left out because of their medical status.”
It is not the first time that Kroes has made controversial statements during the corona pandemic. For example, the model called corona tests in children “deeply sad” and suggested that the media, the pharmaceutical industry, governments and large companies would be pursuing wrong motives.
