At the end of the contract in 2025, Casemiro would like a salary increase that Real Madrid does not seem inclined to offer him. Meanwhile, Chelsea makes eyes at him. More
Casemiro wants to checkout
He is obviously a living legend of Real Madrid. With four Champions Leagues awaiting the final against Liverpool on May 28, Casemiro has for years formed a magical trio in midfield with Luka Modric and Toni Kroos. And if Real is already starting to prepare for the future with the arrival of Eduardo Camavinga in particular, the Brazilian remains a centerpiece of Carlo Ancelotti’s workforce.
But after extending his contract until 2025 in August 2021, Casemiro would ask his leaders for a salary increase, who would not be inclined to give in to him. However, at 30, the Brazilian international can still bring a lot to Real Madrid, and support the new generation. He could notably welcome another Frenchman, Aurélien Tchouaméni, if the latter settles for Real more than for Liverpool, who are also pushing hard to enlist him.
Chelsea in a dream
And if Real Madrid seem to have sea urchins in their pockets, a Premier League club is ready to break the bank to enlist Casemiro. This is Chelsea, according to the Mirror. The Blues, whose takeover is dragging on, would dream of the Brazilian, who would considerably strengthen the midfield of Thomas Tuchel’s team.
Anyway, with a contract that runs until 2025, Casemiro will not be given. And Real have no intention of selling their Brazilian midfielder. However, the player could put pressure on his leaders to get what he wants, otherwise he would have no problem going to see if the lawn of Stamford Bridge is greener than that of the Santiago Bernabéu.
