The train link between Gap and Grenoble will be disrupted by “major maintenance and upkeep” of the track, structures, level crossings and electrical installations. The portion concerned is that located between the stations of Vif (Isère) and Aspres-sur-Buëch (Hautes-Alpes). As for the period: from Monday, June 5, at 8:30 a.m., until Friday, June 16, at 4 p.m. The SNCF specifies that a replacement service by coach will be provided without specifying over what distance*.
According to our checks on its website, to connect Gap to Grenoble, the coach will take over from the train from Veynes-Dévoluy in some cases, for the entire trip in others, until Grenoble. An alternative is to go to Valencia by train and finish by coach. Travelers are advised to inquire before their trip.
