WASHINGTON (Reuters) – US President Donald Trump said Friday he would send lawyers to show what he said without evidence of "fraud" in contested votes in Broward County, Florida.
During the US Senate race in Florida, Republican Governor Rick Scott filed a complaint with his leadership over the tightening of Democratic incumbent Bill Nelson on Thursday, accusing constituents in Broward and Palm Beach districts of not following the electoral law. Marc Elias, lawyer for Nelson's campaign, said Tuesday's results remained unknown.
"Do not worry, Florida – I send much better lawyers to expose the scam!" Trump wrote on Twitter.
