supporters of the former president Donald Trump (2017-2021) have been gathering this Tuesday in the vicinity of Mar-a-Lagohis residence in Palm Beach (South Florida), to express his support, before his possible arrest and accusation for alleged secret payments made to the porn actress Stormy Daniels.
Small groups of Trump supporters gathered along Southern Boulevard, a thoroughfare that leads to Mar-a-Lagowith banners and large flags in favor of the ex-president reading “Trump Save America” (Trump saves America”) or “Trump 2024”in reference to the upcoming presidential elections, which he will run as a candidate for the Republican nomination.
The Manhattan Prosecutor’s Office, in New York, is investigating Trump for alleged payments to the porn actress Stormy Daniels, a case that has aroused the greatest expectation in the media and public opinion.
This weekend Trump let his followers know that he was going to be arrested this Tuesday for the investigation into the payments allegedly made in 2016 to a porn actress in exchange for his silence.
And today he asked his “74 million voters” have them sign a letter against “threats of possible arrest” which, he says, weigh on him, and show that they are “united in the peaceful defense” of the movement that brought him to the White House in 2017.
Trump, who is campaigning as a candidate for the Republican presidential nomination in 2024, faces several judicial problems, among which is the investigation by the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office for these alleged payments to Daniels for, allegedly, buy their silence about a sexual relationship they had.
A grand jury must decide whether or not to prosecute the former president, while, according to what has been reported in different media, the security forces are alert to possible demonstrations by Trump supporters, such as those that occurred on January 6, 2021 in the assault on the Capitol in mind.
