In accordance with the Instruction of the Minister of Home Affairs Number 18 of 2021, the fields that become essential sectors are finance and banking, capital markets, IT and communications, non-COVID-19 quarantine handling hotels, and export-oriented industries.
Then, the critical sectors include health, security and public order, disaster management, energy, logistics, transportation and distribution, food and beverage and its supports, fertilizers and petrochemicals, cement and building materials, national vital objects, national strategic projects, construction, and utilities. basic.
Critical and Essential Sector train users must demonstrate:
1. Worker Registration Certificate, or
2. Other Certificates issued by the local government, or
3. Letter of Assignment signed by the head of the company or an official of at least echelon 2 (for government) and with a wet stamp or electronic signature.
Meanwhile, what is meant by “urgent interests” are patients who are seriously ill, pregnant women who are accompanied by 1 family member, childbirth interests who are accompanied by a maximum of 2 people, and non-Covid-19 corpse carriers with a maximum of 5 people
Customers with urgent interests are proven by showing a travel certificate, among others:
1. Letter of Referral from the Hospital, or
2. Cover Letter from the local regional apparatus, or
3. Death Certificate, or
4. Other Certificates.
Each long-distance train customer is required to show a certificate of negative RT-PCR test results a maximum of 2×24 hours or an Antigen Rapid Test a maximum of 1×24 hours before departure. Especially long-distance train customers on the island of Java are required to show a Vaccination Card.
“The terms of the Vaccination Card are excluded for customers who are not/have not been vaccinated for medical reasons as evidenced by a certificate from a specialist doctor and a customer with an Urgent Interest,” said Joni.
Joni added, during the Eid al-Adha holiday, long-distance train travel is only allowed for customers over the age of 18.
Each customer must be in a healthy condition (not suffering from flu, cold, cough, loss of smell, diarrhea, and fever), body temperature not more than 37.3 degrees Celsius, and wear a 3-ply cloth mask or a medical mask that covers the nose and mouth .
Joni emphasized that every officer at the departure station would check all customer requirements before being allowed to travel. If anything is incomplete, then the person concerned will not be allowed to depart and the train ticket money will be 100% refunded.
