IN PORTRT: Dieter and Ursula Pfeiffer are celebrating their golden wedding anniversary this Thursday.
Today, Thursday, September 29, Dieter Pfeiffer and Ursula, née Hermann, are celebrating their golden wedding anniversary. The couple married on September 29, 1972 in Ichenheim. Both are big music fans and played actively in the music.
Both have music in their blood. They got to know and love each other at a music rehearsal in the Gasthaus Rescht (“Adler”) in Ichenheim. Dieter Pfeiffer played in the well-known Riedperle dance band for a long time and is still busy with the well-known vintage cars. Both of them worked for the association for many years, Dieter Pfeiffer was temporarily the second chairman of the music association.
They both enjoy going into their garden and planting vegetables and flowers. And eat everything their garden has to offer. Many bike tours in the Black Forest and in the Vosges are on her program every year. Ursula Pfeiffer likes to read, knits baby things and, together with her daughter Myriam, is known for their unusual cookies, especially at Christmas time.
A party is not celebrated until the 75th birthday of Dieter Pfeiffer. “We want to stay healthy for as long as possible and continue to live happily together,” says the couple. Today’s motto is: “If you manage fifty years of marriage, you haven’t done much wrong.”
To person: Dieter Pfeiffer, born in Lahr in 1947, grew up in Ichenheim and learned the trade of car mechanic in Friesenheim. He worked for Seebacher in Ichenheim for many years and then in field service in the office supplies department until he retired in 2011. Ursula Pfeiffer, born in 1955, also grew up in Ichenheim and trained as an industrial clerk. She also retired in 2019. The couple have two children and one grandchild.
