In the south of France, a man stabbed passers-by in the street. At least two people died, French media write. Seven people are said to have been seriously injured.
The incident took place around 11 a.m. in Romans-sur-Isère, about a hundred kilometers south of Lyon. A suspect was arrested.
Police sources say to French media that the detainee is a 32- or 33-year-old man from Sudan. He wouldn’t have had any papers with him. Nothing is yet known about the perpetrator’s motive.
