Two people injured in an accident involving three vehicles in Winterthur

The accident occurred shortly after 7 a.m. on Friday morning at the Winterthur-Töss motorway entrance, as announced by the Winterthur city police.

A 63-year-old Italian was driving into the city on Zürcherstrasse in his car. At the Auwiesenstrasse junction, he collided with another car coming from the right with right of way. This was driven by a 41-year-old German.

Due to the force of the impact, the person who had caused the accident collided with a delivery truck. Its driver, a 50-year-old Turk, injured himself moderately and had to be taken to the hospital.

The Italian’s co-driver, a 45-year-old Egyptian, also suffered moderate injuries.
