Two planes collide at Frankfurt airport without injury

The reasons for the incident that did not cause any casualties are still unknown.

No injuries are fortunately to be deplored. An Air Namibia plane collided on Saturday with a Korean Air plane after landing at Frankfurt airport in central Germany, authorities said Sunday.

Both aircraft, however, suffered damage, in what the Namibian airline has described as "minor accident".

Unknown reasons

According to a spokesman for the airport, the collision occurred around 18 hours Saturday, for reasons still unexplained.

"The left wing of Air Namibia's aircraft touched the horizontal tail of Korean Air KE905 when it was parked after landing," said the South Korean airline.

The flight back to Seoul from Korean Air was delayed. A replacement aircraft was scheduled to take off this Sunday afternoon.
