In the final seconds of the match, a fight between the players of the two teams led to the suspension, the UAE Union issued a statement directly regretted the situation that he said: "The Emirates Football Federation continued the unfortunate events during the friendly match that brought together our Olympic team against Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur on Friday 10 August 2018 as part of the preparations for the Asian Football Tournament in Indonesia from 10 August to 2 September 2018.
The Football Federation expresses its regret and rejection of the events that accompanied the match, which was the main culprit of our Olympic team player Mohammed Khalfan Al-Harazi, which is not related to morals and sports spirit, which is always a motto for all national teams and clubs during all matches, both official and friendly and in various regional, Al Ittihad newspaper.
Based on the preliminary report submitted by the administrative body of the Olympic team, it was decided to remove the player Mohammed Khalfan Al-Harasi from the list of the team participating in the "Asayad" and refer him to the committees concerned with the Federation of the ball to take the necessary procedures according to the regulations of the Union.
The Football Association apologized to the Malaysian Football Association for the unfortunate events that do not represent the UAE player's ethics, stressing that sport is ethical before it is a competition. "
