UAE’s Chimera Capital launches an initial $2 billion trust fund

Dubai – Mubasher: Chimera Capital, a subsidiary of Chimera Investments, announced the launch of the Alpha Wave Private Trust Fund, an open-ended trust fund, with investment pledges of $2 billion.

The company launched the fund jointly with Alpha Wave Global, an investment firm that manages a range of investment funds across various asset classes, according to a press release.

The permanent fund, which will be managed by both Chimera Capital and Alpha Wave Global, aims to build a diversified portfolio of credit investments that reflect attractive characteristics of credit risk and investment returns in accordance with the growth of the private credit market and without being restricted by the interest rate path.

The fund aims to achieve periodic income for investors by participating in the creation of credit facilities and participating in the provision of private loans, guaranteed, at variable interest rates for companies wishing to obtain innovative credit solutions.
