The University of Montreal, HEC Montreal and Polytechnique Montreal will be the host institutions of the 90e Acfas Congress, May 8 to 12, 2023. This major congress will resonate like the high point of a full year of celebrations for the Association’s centenary.
It’s at 89e Acfas Congress, which took place from May 9 to 13 at Université Laval, that the exceptional program for the centenary of Acfas was officially launched. Among other things, the participants in the opening ceremony were able to discover the unifying theme of the 2023 congress: “100 years of knowledge for a sustainable world.”
“It is a great pride for the Université de Montréal to host this flagship event for science and research in French and the thousands of speakers from the Francophonie who will attend. The pride is even greater, since it is shared with our longstanding scientific partners, HEC Montréal and Polytechnique Montréal. Our history is intimately linked to that of Acfas. This congress will be an opportunity to celebrate the great French-speaking scientific adventure in Canada, but also to continue to build, with science and knowledge as a driving force, a lastingly better world,” said UdeM Rector Daniel Jutras. .
