President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky expanded sanctions against Russian companies and government agencies, including the State Hermitage Museum and Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov. The decree is published on the website of the office of the president.

The list also included other scientific and cultural institutions: the State Museum of Fine Arts. A.S. Pushkin, All-Russian Organization Russian Geographical Society, Institute of Archeology of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Institute of the History of Material Culture of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
