The President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, spoke today with her Ukrainian counterpart, Volodymyr Zelensky. At the center of the discussion is the guarantee of EU financial support to Kiev in the coming months, up to 1.5 billion euros per month, for a total of 18 billion euros, which will contribute significantly to covering Ukraine’s financial needs. for 2023. Both leaders recognized the importance of ensuring predictable and regular funding of essential state functions.
